Day
1 - London/Taroudant
Fly from London to
Agadir and transfer to majestic
Taroudant for your stay at the Berber
styled Dar Zitoune.
Day 2 - Taroudant
Discover the sleepy
provincial town of Taroudant with it
high ramparts, set against the towering
Atlas Mountains. Half citadel and half
oasis, it is perhaps most noted for its
traditional crafts so if you plan to
shop, this is the place to do it.
Day 3 - Taroudant/
Marrakech
Passing by Agadir,
your journey takes you to Marrakech, a
city painted entirely in salmon pink, in
keeping with the red-clay earth below.
Day 4 - Marrakech
Visit the magnificent
palace of Dar Mnebhi, which houses
exhibitions of Moroccan art and
sculpture. See one of the first
fountains of the town before viewing the
finely worked square tower of the
Koutoubia mosque. Prepare yourself for a
discovery in labyrinth souk ending with
snake charmers and Gnaouan drums pulsing
in the most exuberant marketplace in the
world.
Day 5 - Marrakech
After the hustle and
bustle of the Medina, visit
Marrakech’s most beautiful gardens
travelling by horse-drawn caleche. Enjoy
the tranquility of the Menara Gardens
and take a romantic stroll passed the
old olive-trees and Saadian style
pavilion.
Day 6 –
Marrakech/Atlas Mountains
Drive to the highest
mountain in Africa to enjoy the
spectacular scenery and the change in
flora and fauna. Stop for photos of the
dramatic landscape before arriving to
Kasbah Tamadot, a wonderfully restored
Kasbah.
Day 7 - Atlas
Mountains
Enjoy a guided walk
through the mountains or take time to
relax and perhaps indulge yourself in
the spa.
Day 8 – Atlas
Mountains/London
Drive to Marrakech
Airport for your flight with Royal Air
Maroc to London.
