We invite you to join us for an adventure. An
adventure designed for you to experience
the authentic essence of Kenya’s most
independent people and to live with them
today as they have lived for generations.
We organise exciting itineraries to
beautiful wilderness locations in small,
exclusive groups where you will live and
learn with the indigenous Maasai people in
a way that brings a true exchange of
ideas.
Our trips are fun, exciting and
occasionally challenging. They will take
you to remote areas where you will spend
your days outdoors in landscapes not
touched by the modern world, and where
essential comforts are all catered for.
We currently offer 4, 7 and 12 day
expeditions to northern Kenya, to train
with Maasai Warriors and enjoy an
adventure that will change the way you
experience life.
Warrior Training Courses
We offer three types of Maasai Warrior
Training, each of which is modified
throughout the year to take advantage of
local conditions and opportunities:
* Introductory Training (4 Days)
* Survivor Training (7 Days)
* Full Training (12 Days)
We can accommodate a maximum of
8 guests
per training.
Transport between Nairobi and the camp in
the community conservancy of Il Ngwesi,
close to mount Kenya, can be organized
upon request and is provided in modern 4WD
safari vehicles.
Accommodation
Our holidays are designed for those with an adventurous spirit seeking as authentic an experience as possible in the wilds of Africa, but we understand that some comforts are essential.
The camp sits in the shade of soaring acacia trees close to a Maasai homestead, where you will be welcomed to see the daily life of a typical village.
You will stay in cosy beds in luxury, secure 13ft by 10 ft (4m by 3m) safari tents. Each tent sleeps two, and we invite a maximum of only eight people on any one trip. We have bathrooms with sit-down toilets and hot showers. Each evening we will light the campfire and serve sundowners to refresh you after a day spent outdoors.
The camp is located in the Il Ngwesi Community Conservancy, in northern Laikipia, close to Nanyuki and Isiolo towns. The 16,500 hectare Conservancy is owned and managed by the Laikipiak
Maasai.
Food
Our highly-trained chef will prepare three meals a day,each tailored to Western tastes and served to your table
in the open air.
Our ingredients are as far as possible sourced locally and we will be happy to discuss special
dietary requirements. All food and drink, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, is included in the price of your holiday.
