Day 1- Nairobi, House of Waine
On arrival into Jomo Kenyatta International Airport a
Adam's & Butler representative will meet you and
transfer you to the House of Waine. Accommodation is booked for 1 night on a bed &
breakfast basis.
This is an 11- bedroom boutique hotel in Karen, a suburb of Nairobi, renowned for fine décor and its quiet
location. The rooms have a television, mini bar, room safe, coffee & tea making facilities with fresh milk and
homemade pastries delivered daily. Each bedroom has a large marble bathroom with a shower and bath, and
a hairdryer. Within the surrounding gardens there is a heated swimming pool. It is closely located to the
Giraffe Centre, Nairobi National Park and Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage.
Day
2 - Meru National Park, Elsa’s Kopje
You will be collected at 08h00 from House of Waine and transferred to Wilson Airport to catch the Air Kenya
scheduled flight which departs at 09h15. On arrival into Meru you will be met at the airstrip and transferred
to Elsa’s Kopje. Accommodation is booked for 3 nights on a full board basis.
Elsa’s Kopje has 8 elegant open-plan 'rooms-with-a-view' plus a three tier Honeymoon Suite, and a Private
House with a double and a twin room, a shared sitting room, verandah and a private swimming pool. All rooms
are uniquely designed incorporating natural features of the rocky hillside. There is an open bar, sitting and
dining room with an infinity pool. Activities include day & night game drives, guided bush walks, bush meals,
cultural visits, sundowners, fishing and massage. This untamed wilderness is renowned for its rhino sightings
and the rare northern species.
Day 5 – Shaba National Reserve, Joy’s Camp
Today you will be transferred to the airstrip for your Air Kenya scheduled flight to Samburu departing at
10h35 to arrive at 11h00. On arrival your driver/guide will meet you and transfer you to camp.
Joy’s Camp has 10 chic canvas bedrooms raised off the ground with breathtaking views of the surrounding
hills and overlooking a large natural spring. Each sumptuous tent is uniquely decorated with Boran/Somali
cloth, handmade glass and vibrant fabrics of the local tribes creating a chic, sophisticated camp. Activities
include game drives, bush meals on the Ewaso Nyiro river, cultural visits and sundowners. The camp is ideal
for private game viewing as well as relaxing, reading and soaking up the truly wild environs offered by Shaba.
Day 8 – Masai Mara, Elephant Pepper Camp
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for the Safari Link scheduled flight to the Masai Mara
departing at 09h10. You will be met at Mara Shikar Airstrip and transferred to Elephant Pepper Camp.
Accommodation is booked for 3 nights on a full board basis.
Elephant Pepper Camp is located on the Mara North Conservancy in the northern Masai Mara. Small and very
exclusive the camp is located away from other lodges in the heart of the African bush. With just seven
comfortably furnished, double en-suite tents and one honeymoon tent, Elephant Pepper Camp offers the
ultimate luxury bush safari with the sights and sounds of nature and all the luxuries you need. Activities
include day and night game drives, bush walks, bush meals and sundowners.
Day 11 – Depart
After a last game drive in the Masai Mara, catch the 11h00 Safari link scheduled flight back to Nairobi. A
Adams & Butler representative will meet and transfer you to your Nairobi hotel or to the international airport for
your journey home.
