Day 1- Shaba National Reserve, Joy’s Camp

On arrival into Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met by a Adams & Butler representative who will transfer you to Wilson Airport for the Safari link scheduled flight to Shaba departing at 10h20. On arrival at the Chaffa airstrip, your driver/guide will meet you and transfer you to camp. 

Joy’s Camp has 10 chic canvas bedrooms raised off the ground with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and overlooking a large natural spring. Each sumptuous tent is uniquely decorated with Boran/Somali cloth, handmade glass and vibrant fabrics of the local tribes creating a chic, sophisticated camp. Activities include game drives, bush meals on the Ewaso Nyiro River, cultural visits and sundowners. The camp is ideal for private game viewing as well as relaxing, reading and soaking up the truly wild environs offered by Shaba.

Day 4 – Masai Mara, Cottars Camp
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for the Safari Link scheduled flight to the Masai Mara departing at 09h10. You will be met at Keekorok Airstrip and transferred to Cottars 1920s Camp. Accommodation is booked for 3 nights on a full board basis. 

The camp accommodates up to twelve clients in authentic white canvas tents, which are spacious and luxuriously furnished and incorporate original safari antiques from the '20's; private en suite dressing rooms and bathrooms (with old-fashioned showers and flushing toilets), the main bedroom and an outdoor veranda.

Day 7 – Kiwayu, Kiwayu Safari Lodge

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for the Safari Link schedule flight to back to Wilson where you will connect with your onward flight to Kiwayu departing at 13h45. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Kiwayu Safari Lodge. Accommodation is booked for three nights on a full board basis. All extras are payable direct. 

Kiwayu is a luxury beach retreat ten minutes from Lamu by air. Nestling among the mainland dunes, the oasis of Kiwayu overlooks miles of uninhabited beach for walking and swimming. There are eighteen comfortable bandas built in local Swahili style, each with spacious en-suite bedroom, dressing area and sheltered veranda. The cuisine at Kiwayu is recognised as being among the best in East Africa with a strong Italian flavour based mainly on freshly caught fish and seafood and exotic fruits. Activities include guided walking safaris over the dunes, bird watching, wind surfing, sailing, body surfing, snorkelling, dhow excursions, beach picnics, creek fishing and deep sea fishing.

Day 10 – Depart

After lunch, you will be transferred to the 15h50 Safari link scheduled flight back to Wilson. A Adams & Butler representative will meet and transfer you either for dinner before your international flight, or direct to the international airport for your journey home.
