Day 1- Shaba National Reserve, Joy’s Camp

On arrival into Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met by a Adams & Butler  representative who will transfer you to Wilson Airport for the Safari link scheduled flight to Chaffa departing at 10h20 to arrive at 11h30. On arrival at the Chaffa airstrip, your driver/guide will meet you and transfer you to camp. 


Joy’s Camp has 10 chic canvas bedrooms raised off the ground with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and overlooking a large natural spring. Each sumptuous tent is uniquely decorated with Boran/Somali cloth, handmade glass and vibrant fabrics of the local tribes creating a chic, sophisticated camp. Activities include game drives, bush meals on the Ewaso Nyiro River, cultural visits and sundowners. The camp is ideal for private game viewing as well as relaxing, reading and soaking up the truly wild environs offered by Shaba. 

Day 4 – Samburu, Saruni Samburu Camp

After breakfast you will be transferred by road to Samburu, home of Saruni Samburu. This drive will take approximately 1.5 hours with game viewing en route.


Saruni Samburu is set within 95,000 hectares of private wildlife conservancy, and perched on top of a spectacular viewpoint. It has four rooms and a large swimming pool which overlook several waterholes where the famous Samburu elephant, leopard, reticulated giraffe and grevy’s zebra gather to drink. Saruni Samburu offers activities such as game driving, cultural visits, bush walks and meals as well as featuring a massage and beauty treatment centre called the Samburu Wellbeing Space. The feeling of exclusivity and high level of comfort is one of its kind.

Day 7 – Masai Mara, Elephant Pepper Camp

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for the Safari Link schedule flight to the Masai Mara departing at 09h30 and arriving at 11h00. You will be collected from the airstrip and transferred to Elephant Pepper Camp.


Elephant Pepper Camp is located in the Mara North Conservancy in the Masai Mara. Small and very exclusive the camp is located away from other lodges in the heart of the African bush. With just seven comfortably furnished double en-suite tents and one honeymoon tent. Elephant Pepper Camp offers the ultimate luxury bush safari with the sights and sounds of nature and all the luxuries you need. Activities include day and night game drives, bush walks, bush meals and sundowners. Early morning and late afternoon are the most productive hours for game drives and our safari customized 4WD vehicles give everyone a perfect view. Watching wildlife at close range, but without encroaching on their space, is endlessly fascinating and the guides' instincts and experience provide superb photo opportunities of wild animals.

Day 10 – Depart

After a last game drive in the Mara, you will be transferred to the airstrip for the Safari link scheduled flight back to Wilson departing at 11h00. A Adams & Butler representative will meet and transfer you to the international airport for your journey home.
