of four countries - Namibia, Botswana, Zambia
and Zimbabwe - and near the meeting place of the
mighty Zambezi and Chobe Rivers, Impalila Island
Lodge is a water-bound wonderland. With over
100km of waterways to traverse, Impalila lies a
mere 80km upriver from the Victoria Falls.

which, it is said, David Livingstone camped.

Day
3 & 4
Transfer
by boat & road to Kasane Immigration. You
will be met for your road transfer to Elephant
Valley Lodge (Botswana),
for 2 nights.
The
Chobe region is home to the largest population
of wild elephant in the world. This is estimated
to be approximately 120,000 individuals. Their
sometimes daily passage takes them from Zimbabwe
through the Chobe and on into Namibia before
returning. Elephant Valley Lodge lies along one
of these routes and is situated in the Kasane
Forest, which is adjacent to the Chobe National
Park. Open
guest areas, a secluded hide, refreshing
swimming pool and 20 ‘meru styled’ tents
complete the lodge which lies beneath a forest
of sturdy knob thorns. It is within these tree
tops that the largest colony of white back
vultures occurs. The lodge is unique for several
reasons and amongst these is the fact that it is
situated within a game rich reserve affording
the guests wonderful sightings between our open
landrover safaris into the Chobe and boat
cruises along the Chobe River.
Includes:
All meals | tea/coffee & snacks | transfers
to/from the border posts | 2 Activities per day
i.e. morning boat cruise & afternoon game
drive in Chobe National Park | Park Fees |

which nourishes delicate ecosystems and sustains
varied game and birdlife. Relaxation, privacy
and comfort are paramount here. Susuwe Island
Lodge is built to incorporate the riverine
forest - the main complex has lofty canopy
viewing decks overlooking endless savannahs,
glistening lily-studded wetlands and ancient
Kalahari woodlands, as well as a firepit,
spacious lounge and dining areas, curio shop and
