- Classic Safari Uganda -

Experience all highlights in one tour! Visit the most beautiful national parks, meet the impressive mountain gorillas and take a swim in the deepest lake of Africa. A unique combination of wildlife, nature and culture!

Day 1: Arrival:

You will be welcomed by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel. Overnight at Green Valley Hotel (2*) / Le Petit Village (4*).

Day 2: Kampala – Murchison Falls NP:

In the morning transfer to Murchison Falls National Park with lunch en route. In the park visit to the magnificent Top of the Falls. Overnight at Red Chilli Rest Camp (1*) / Paraa Safari Lodge (4*).

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park:

Early morning game drive with chances of seeing elephants, giraffes and lions. After lunch we will go on a Nile cruise for more game viewing. Overnight at Red Chilli Rest Camp (1*) / Paraa Safari Lodge (4*).

Day 4: Murchison Falls NP – Kibale NP:

Transfer towards Fort Portal and continue to Kibale Forest. It is a long but rewarding drive with breathtaking panoramic views. Overnight at Primate Lodge Kibale cottages (3*) / Primate Lodge Kibale safari tents (4*).

Day 5: Kibale Forest & Bigodi Swamp:

In the morning enjoy a guided nature walk in the tropical rainforest in search of chimpanzees and other primates. After lunch we transfer to the Bigodi Swamp which is managed by the local community and is famous for the many species of birds and primates. Overnight at Primate Lodge Kibale cottages (3*) / Primate Lodge Kibale safari tents (4*).

Day 6: Kibale NP – Queen Elizabeth NP:

After breakfast we calmly drive back towards Fort Portal while we pass the crater lakes area, a beautiful landscape with small lakes and rolling hills. From Fort Portal we continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Overnight at Simba Safari Camp (2*) / Mweya Safari Lodge (4*).

Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park:

The day begins early when we start with a morning game drive and head to the mating ground of the Uganda Kobs. We search for lions, elephants, buffaloes and other wild animals in their natural habitat, before returning for lunch. In the afternoon we take on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural channel between
Lake Edward and Lake George. Overnight at Simba Safari Camp (2*) / Mweya Safari Lodge (4*).

Day 8: Queen Elizabeth NP – Bwindi NP:

After breakfast you may go for a hike in the Kyambura Wildlife Reserve in search of the chimpanzees (optional, not included). After this optional activity we continue to Bwindi, home of the endangered mountain gorillas. Overnight at Buhoma Community Rest Camp (1*) / Engagi Lodge (3-4*).

Day 9: Bwindi National Park:

The highlight of your safari: a meeting with the gentle giants of Bwindi! Expect to walk in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead, before you encounter any gorillas. But it will definitely be worthwhile as you observe them closely while they eat, play and rest. A unique and unforgettable experience! Overnight at
Buhoma Community Rest Camp (1*) / Engagi Lodge (3-4*).

Day 10: Bwindi National Park – Lake Bunyonyi:

After breakfast we depart to Lake Bunyonyi, the deepest lake in Africa. Relax or go for a canoe trip while you watch the beautiful sunset. Overnight at Bunyonyi Overland Camp (2*) / Bushara Island Camp (3*).

Day 11: L Lake ake Bunyonyi:

After the challenging and strenuous hike in Bwindi, some relaxing moments on the shores of this peaceful lake are most welcome. The options here are birding, nature walks, swimming or canoeing. Overnight at Bunyonyi Overland Camp (2*) / Bushara Island Camp (3*).

Day 12: Lake Bunyonyi – Lake Mburo NP:

We drive to Lake Mburo National Park and as we enter the park it is likely that you will spot some wildlife, like impalas, zebras and buffaloes. In the afternoon you can go on a boat ride on the lake and enjoy the rich bird life and the hippos that are cooling off. Overnight at Rwonyo Camp (1*) / Mantana Tented Camp (3-4*).

Day 13: Lake Mburo NP – Kampala:

Early start of the day as we go for a nature walk guided by a ranger. After breakfast we transfer to Kampala with a stop at the equator for photos or souvenir shopping. Arrival late in the afternoon in Kampala. Overnight at Green Valley Hotel (2*) / Le Petit Village (4*).

Day 14: Departure:

Enriched with an experience of a lifetime and unforgettable memories you will say goodbye to the Pearl of Africa. Depending on the time of departure you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
