Upon your arrival in Windhoek, you will be met and assisted by our representative before continuing on to your Charter Flight to Sossusvlei. Your first evening in Namibia you shall be accommodated at the Hoodia Desert Camp, which is situated southeast of Sesriem, and within a 15 minute drive to the Sossusvlei Gate. The lodge bungalows have open air bathrooms and shaded porches.

Dinner is served at the Camp

Day 02 Swakopmund Breakfast, Dinner

After an early breakfast at the Lodge you shall visit the Sossusvlei – a huge clay pan, enclosed by giant sand dunes. Some of the spectacular hills of sand are, at a hight of 300 meters, the highest in the world. The tour ends at the Sossusvlei Airstirp in time for the charter flight to Swakopmund.
Upon arrival at Swakopmund Airport you will be transferred to your accommodation for the next two nights, the Hotel Eberwein. The hotel is located in the historical building “Villa Wille”, which was built in 1910 by Herman Wille. The building’s original exterior has been maintained in an unchanged state and the rooms still have stuccowork dating back to the days of Villa Wille. This stately mansion has been converted into a hotel or distinctive character.

Lunch and dinner will be for your own account
Overnight: Hotel Eberwein

Day 03 Swakopmund Breakfast, Snacks

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to Walvis Bay for a boat excursion on Walvis Bay Lagoon.

Experience the beauty and variety of sea life around Swakopmund and Walvis Bay where the rich diversity of birds, seals and dolphins, and, in season, humpback whales, is fascinating. Schools of dolphins swim alongside the boat, and seals frequently jump aboard for a visit. A late breakfast of fresh Walvis Bay Oysters and light snacks served with sparkling wine is enjoyed on board. Return to Walvis Bay Yacht Club at approximately 12H30.

The afternoon will be at own leisure.

Dinner will be on own account
Overnight: Hotel Eberwein

Day 04 Twyfelfontein, Opuwo Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Breakfast at the Hotel is followed by a transfer to the Swakopmund Airport, in time for your charter flight to Kaokoland
Enroute you shall stop over at Twyfelfontein to view the Rock Engravings. Twyfelfontein is the largest known concentration of Stone Age petroglyphs in Namibia, with approximately 2500 engravings around the Twyfelfontein area. Also in the area is another geological curiosity; the perpendicular slabs of basalt known as the “Organ Pipes”. A light lunch I served, before your flight continues to Opuwo.
You shall be accommodated at Opuwo Country Lodge, which is situated on a hilltop northwest of Opuwo overlooking valleys and mountains with magnificent views

Dinner will be served at the Lodge
Overnight: Opuwo Country Lodge

Day 05 Etosha National Park Breakfast & Dinner

After breakfast, you shall visit the Ovahimba People
Kaokoland is home to some 6000 Himba. These friendly people are closely related to the Herero and speak the same language. The Himba are herdsmen, breeding mainly cattle and goats while leading a semi-nomadic life. They migrate with their herds to the different waterholes from season to season. For the Himba, clothes, hair and jewellery hold a special meaning and form an important part of their tradition and culture. The proud Himba women spend many hours on beauty care and grooming every day. They cream their whole body with a mixture of rancid butterfat and ochre, scented with the aromatic resin of the Omuzumba shrub. The cream lends the body an intense reddish glow, which reflects the Himba ideal of beauty.

After your visit you shall be transferred directly to the Opuwo airstrip, for your charter flight to the Etosha National Park.

You shall be accommodated at the Etosha Safari lodge, which is situated on a hillock, giving magnificent views across tree-covered hills.

Dinner will be served at the Lodge
Overnight: Etosha Safari Lodge

Day 06 Etosha National Park Breakfast & Dinner

Enjoy an early morning Game Drive in the Etosha National Park

Namibia’s Etosha National Park is a huge saltpan surrounded by flat bushland. This huge nature reserve is approximately 22,000 square kilometers in size, supporting an estimated 300 lions, 300 rhinos, 2000 giraffes and 1500 elephants. Particularly numerous are the dainty springbox – of which there are at least 30,000! Etosha National Park has a good infrastructure – well-maintained gravel roads lead to the waterholdes, where game viewing is at its best

Lunch will be for your own account

Dinner is served in the Restaurant
Overnight: Etosha Safari Lodge

Day 07 Return to Windhoek Breakfast & Lunch

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the Lodge before flying back to Windhoek Eros Airport.

Once arrived, you will be met by our representative and transferred to town for lunch.
After lunch is a Windhoek Township tour of Katutura, one of the poorest areas of Windhoek. Along the way the local people sell traditional food called kapana and a traditional drink which is called Tombo. At the Soweto market one can see traditional hairdressers and tailors, and the impressive open air butchery.
In the late afternoon, visitors will be transferred to Windhoek International Airport for their return flight.
