WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT THIS ITINERARY…
· Getting up-close to Africa’s sublime
wilderness in beautifully appointed tents
· Discovering the pristine Savute Channel
· Experiencing the awe-inspiring diversity of
flora and fauna in the renowned Chobe National Park
· Embarking on a guided walking safari in the
exceptional Linyanti Wilderness area
MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR ADVENTURE…
· Enhance your exhilarating safari experience by
staying for two additional nights in the breathtaking
Okavango Delta, at your choice of &Beyond Nxabega Okavango
Tented Camp, Sandibe Okavango Delta Lodge, Xudum
Okavango Delta Lodge or Xaranna Okavango Delta Camp.
· Stand in awe of the majestic Victoria Falls,
which can be experienced from Zimbabwe or
Zambia. If you choose to stay in the Victoria
Falls area we recommend Victoria Falls Safari Lodge,
The Kingdom Hotel or Ilala Lodge. If you would like to
hop over to the Livingstone area we suggest unwinding
at the David Livingstone Safari Lodge and Spa or the
Zambezi Sun Hotel.
This adventure begins at Victoria
Falls Airport, in Zimbabwe and ends at Maun
Airport, in Botswana. Upon
your arrival at Victoria Falls Airport you will be
met by a member from the Adams & Butler team
who will drive you to your secluded &Beyond Chobe Under
Canvas campsite, near the Chobe River (clearing
customs and immigration en route). Further north
from the Okavango Delta lies Chobe National
Park, encompassing 11 000km² of
wilderness, bordered in the north by the beautiful
Chobe River, and buffered on all sides by wildlife
management areas and forest reserves allowing for
the free movement of game. Known as one of the top
wilderness reserves in the world and home to the
largest single concentration of elephant, Chobe
National Park is a wildlife enthusiast’s dream.
Throughout the year, herds of buffalo and elephant
can be seen drinking at the river’s edge, with
their numbers swelling into hundreds and thousands
during the dry season. Two region specific
antelope, the puku and the Chobe bushbuck can not
be seen anywhere in Botswana except on the Chobe
riverfront.
Spend two nights at &Beyond Chobe Under Canvas.

bathroom, separate W.C. and an al fresco bucket
shower (hot water delivered on request). Your stay

Day 3 & 4
Today you will be driven to Kasane Airport where

Butler who will assist and direct you to your light

depending on which of our Under Canvas camps is open
at that time of year. &Beyond Savute Under Canvas is
operational from March to September and &Beyond Moremi Under
Canvas is open from September to January.
Some of the largest concentrations of wildlife in
Southern Africa are found in the Savute
(sometimes spelled Savuti) area. Situated in the
famous Chobe National Park on the border of the
Okavango Delta, Savute is best known for its channel,
which mysteriously fills up and dries up periodically,
seemingly unrelated to the rainfall. Savute supports
the greatest concentration of the king of all beasts
– the lion. The landscape of Savute is strikingly
different from the lush Chobe riverfront, with an
almost desert-like feeling.
As the only proclaimed wildlife
reserve in the Okavango Delta, Moremi contains
about a quarter of the Okavango’s breathtaking
waterways, islands and lagoons — widely regarded as
one of Botswana’s most beautiful reserves. Game
viewing is excellent year-round.

The Linyanti Wildlife Management Area
is a hidden gem, tucked away in the northeastern
corner of Chobe National Park. The Selinda Spillway
links Linyanti to the Okavango Delta and it is
renowned as one of the best game viewing areas in the
region, supporting a great diversity of wildlife, with
large herds of elephant, buffalo and zebra. Due to its
remoteness, the Linyanti is a gorgeous, unspoiled
region of waterways and lagoons, riverine forests,
huge trees and palm tree islands. Game viewing is
superlative in both the wet and dry season, and the
birding is exceptional.

Reserve has the most diverse habitat and animal
populations in Botswana. The reserve contains about a
quarter of the Okavango Delta and stretches across
several thousand square kilometres, comprising a

and islands. Game viewing is excellent year-round and
