This enchanting property is just northwest of Marrakech within a former Tuareg oasis with lush gardens spread over 4 acres; a private and peaceful haven for guests and thousands of birds. The downstairs areas contain very spacious drawing rooms with large fireplace, rugs, sofas and wall tapestries, covered terraces, internal courtyards with fountains, salons in both traditional Moroccan design and structured around a TV, and countless alcoves.

There are two double en-suite bedrooms, one with hammam, and two twin bedroom suites, also with bathrooms, that are accessed from the rear terrace. The villa is heated in the winter months, with views of snow on the Atlas Mountains.

Apart from large terraces to the front and rear of the villa there is also a roof garden ('Minzah') with more areas for dining or entertaining, partly sheltered by a Moroccan-style tent. The gardens, which can be floodlit at night, contain a secluded 18m x 8m swimming pool, solar heated.Full board is included, with a cook who will discuss your requirements and buy the ingredients required.

OPINION
For 30 years a second home for an Austrian princess, this is a wonderful Moroccan fantasy dwelling.

ACCOMMODATION
Two double, two twin bedrooms. Maximum eight guests.

STAFF
Full time staff, consisting of a Majordomo, a cook, two housemaids, a laundress and a gateman. A handyman and gardeners maintain the pool, garden and terraces. Masseur on request. The staff live in separate quarters behind the villa. During the day, a minibus with driver is at guests' disposal.

Marrakech 15 mins drive, golf (3 courses) 20 mins, Ourika Valley 60 mins.
