This private house is nestled against the slopes of Table Mountain and overlooks the Kirstenbosch region and Hohenhort Valley, with a wooden deck looking out over the apartment’s own fynbos gardens and the valley beyond. The living areas are spacious and elegant, with views from a balcony and swimming pool is beautifully set amongst indigenous ferns. The four guest suites, each with en-suite facilities, have been tastefully and individually decorated to retain their intimate and relaxed atmosphere, as well as their privacy. Facilities include garage parking and a private tennis court. Guests here often eat in Cape Town’s finest restaurants, but when required the Bishop’s Court will lay on lavish feasts of typically South African gourmet meals, accompanied by selected wines from the Bishops’ Court’s own cellar.

In our opinion this private house would suit anyone interested in coming to know the natural mysteries of the Cape’s unique flora and fauna, whether adult or child.
