The house commands the high position of a spur, which juts out into the valley below giving panoramic views across the rolling, wooded countryside to the bastide village of Beauville. Set in one of the most spectacular and picturesque regions of France, dubbed "The new Tuscany" (Daily Telegraph Oct 2002). The house is on three levels and is furnished with antique English and French furniture; most of the rooms have antique tiled floors. The many mirrors, chandeliers, original paintings, textiles, sculptures and books are there to enjoy. The garden meanders over split level terraces and has large mature trees, creating shaded areas which allow you to snooze in safety in the midday sun.
The surrounding area provides the opportunity to visit some of the most famous resorts of France including Toulouse, Cahors and Bordeaux on the coast, all of these are no more than 2 hours' drive.
