Dating back to 1620, this property oozes atmosphere, an elegant and beautifully appointed holiday home set on a private 48-acre estate. The furnishings are of a very high standard, with Venetian antiques and brightly coloured fabrics stylish and grand. Entrance is into a very spacious reception room with a roulette table and grand piano, with the dining room on one side and the living room and library, with satellite TV/DVD/CD on the other.

Floors are terracotta tiled throughout, and there is a superbly equipped country kitchen. Stairs lead up to the first floor where there are three double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and two double bedrooms that share a bathroom, all brightly furnished and comfortable. On the second floor there are two more simply furnished bedrooms that share a bathroom – ideal for staff. 

To the front of the property there is a lawned garden that slopes down, lined with small box trees leading to a tennis court. At the rear is another lawned garden with a covered outdoor dining area and a large fenced pool (15 x 6m).

OPINION This wonderfully restored villa, built in Italian renaissance style, has great facilities including a tennis court and fenced in pool. Also it is close to the the restaurants and attractions of Bergerac , ensuring an ideal holiday location.
ACCOMMODATION Five double bedrooms and two further double bedrooms, suitable for staff. Maximum ten guests with two staff.
STAFF Guardians, resident in separate accommodation next to the main house, provide four hours of maid service daily, more on request. Chef available if required.
DISTANCES
Small supermarket 3 mins, Bergerac (airport, hypermarket) 15 mins, Bordeaux airport 120 mins.
