This wonderful private hamlet of three houses, some dating back as far as the 16th century, is situated in a secluded spot at the edge of mature mixed woodland and the 9-hole practice golf course which winds its way through the Chateau du Fretay estate. Each house is full of character with low doors and twisted oak beam; all have been tastefully renovated and have modern amenities. Each house has its own garden furniture and barbeque and the gardens are large enough to use communally or individually. This is the ideal spot for family and friends to holiday together, giving children plenty of safe space to run around together while still allowing each family their own privacy.

The Chateau du Fretay estate has its own stables, golf course, go karting circuit and clay pigeon shooting (lessons can be arranged with the owner).

The chateau is less than 30 minutes from the coast and Mont St Michel is only one of the many tourist attractions that are in the area. The Normandy landing beaches, Bayeau Tapestry, market towns and many historical sites are within easy reach, some within walking distance.
