This enchanting 15th century chateau, set in 100 acres of landscaped grounds is one of France’s most important 'Grand Manoir Houses’ with a well-documented history. It has recently been restored and refurbished by its current owners to an exceptionally high standard, and arranged as three self-contained apartments, each with kitchen, telephone and separate entrance from the central courtyard. There is central heating and logs can be provided, on request, for winter use. Extensive grounds include a swimming pool, tennis court, a small chapel (now disused), a 15th Century dovecote, a lake and an apple orchard.

The Grand Manoir accommodates twelve but entertains more, with a sitting room and double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a dining room seating 20, and a kitchen. Both stone and wooden stairs lead up to the first floor, with two double/twin en-suite bedrooms and two double bedrooms en-suite plus two single bedrooms. Four more guests can stay in the Garden Wing, with an open-plan sitting/dining room and double en-suite bedroom on the ground floor and stairs up to a further double en-suite bedroom. La Garde offers accommodation for a further four guests, with a kitchen/dining room, sitting room with large stone fireplace on the first floor, one double and one double/twin en-suite bedroom up on the second floor.

OPINION	Rented as a whole, for groups of up to twenty, this historic building is ideal for major family celebrations. It has large grounds and is only a short distance from an unspoilt beach. Rich in seafood and other regional delicacies, this is the place to sample real French life in your own private Chateau.
ACCOMMODATION	Grand Manoir, three double bedrooms, two double/twins, two single bedrooms, maximum twelve guests. Garden Wing, two double bedrooms, maximum four guests. La Garde, one double, one double/twin, maximum four guests. Total 20 guests maximum.
STAFF	A daily cleaner and any extra staff (including chef for breakfast, lunch and dinner) can be arranged in advance, on request at extra charge.
