Peaceful and private setting Rustic and charming country home Caretaker/manager This very attractive 17th Century mas is situated in a beautiful and peaceful rural setting, close to the picturesque medieval village of Sauve, with wonderful views. The house has recently been renovated to provide spacious and comfortable accommodation, while at the same time retaining its rustic charm. It is surrounded by terraced grounds that blend in with the surrounding countryside. Two entrances reach the main part of the house through a covered patio, leading to a reception hall and kitchen. The living room, with open fireplace and TV/VCR, opens to a front terrace overlooking the 12m x 6m swimming pool and the unspoilt countryside. Steps down reach a sun terrace, a dining area under the trees with built-in barbecue, and an area for playing boules, and also an independent garden flat, including a double bedroom with en-suite shower. The first floor is reached by either the internal staircase or an external flight to the side of the building, to a double bedroom, a twin bedroom with washbasin, a small sitting room that can be used as a single bedroom, and a large bathroom , shower, WC and bidet.

OPINION

A simple but charming country home that would provide an ideal base from which to explore all the market towns in the area.

ACCOMMODATION

Two double bedrooms, a twin and one single bedroom. Maximum seven guests.

STAFF

Maid service included twice a week. Caretaker/manager to welcome and look after guests.

Sauve 20 mins walk cross country or 10 mins drive, St. Hippolyte-du-Fort 15 mins, Quissac 15 mins, Sommieres 30 mins, Nimes 30 mins, Montpellier 40 mins.
