Romantic 15th century chateau Games room in outbuilding Large lawned gardens The chateau, set in peaceful, landscaped parklands, is comfortably furnished with antiques and fitted with hi-fi, TV, VCR and fax, as well as extensive libraries of books, CDs and videos. The ancient stones are cool in the summer while central heating, heated towel rails in all bedrooms and large open fireplaces in the main reception rooms make it equally comfortable in the winter months. The ground floor houses a huge kitchen/dining room with a grand refectory table and French doors front and back, as well as a sitting room, while the formal Salon is on the first floor, next to the library, with a landing with sofa, master bedroom and double bedroom with a spare single bed, both en-suite, and a WC in the tower room. The second floor has a double bedroom with an extra bed and a twin bedroom, both en-suite, a tower room and a large triple-aspect room with six single beds and an en-suite shower. This room has access to two upper stories in the north tower, with a single bedroom and central sitting area with double sofa bed, games, toys, TV and video. An outbuilding houses further games, including table tennis, gym equipment and bar football, and a rose covered pergola leads to a 12m x 6m swimming pool with a barbeque, dining furniture and sun lounges.

OPINION

Irresistible for all ages, this romantic chateau in mellow ‘brique rose’ pink has been sympathetically laid out to appeal to all ages, with huge recreational areas for grown-ups and children indoors and out.

ACCOMMODATION

Master bedroom, two double bedrooms with extra beds, one twin bedroom, one single bedroom, one six-bed room, one sofa bed. Maximum fifteen guests.

STAFF

Maid service included 18 hours a week. Cook available on request.
