Overlooking world-famous Côtes du Rhone vineyards to the Roman theatre at Vaison-la-Romaine, this charming property has been sensitively restored using antique materials to provide delightful accommodation in the heart of this historically rich region.

Original doors and an antique fireplace in the 16m living room provide charming character touches to this otherwise full modernised villa. The kitchen, which leads onto a courtyard area and west-facing terrace, is fitted with a La Cornue oven and other quality appliances, while the separate office area includes broadband WiFi internet access. The accommodation is set over three floors in the main house, with Spanish limestone flooring on the ground floor and oak on the first and second. A further two communicating bedrooms are available with independent access in the adjacent annexe building.

The property is set in one hectare of private grounds, has a 14m swimming pool and outdoor BBQ, and enjoys views over Côtes du Rhone vineyards to the old town of Vaison and the region’s most infamous landmark, Mont Ventoux. The shops and restaurants are a nice stroll away, as are floodlit tennis courts and the old Roman theatre, home to open-air productions throughout the year.
