The exterior of the house is painted white, with bougainvillea vines, and is surrounded by a beautiful garden that can be illuminated at night, with a heated kidney-shaped swimming pool, summer kitchen with barbeque, fridge and dining area, boules court and ping pong table.

Steps extend from the driveway level, up around the side of the house to the rear terrace which has an extendable awning, table and chairs. French windows lead in to the living room, which is spacious, light and charmingly decorated, and the kitchen is very well equipped. On this level there is also the master double bedroom, with dressing room, private balcony and en-suite bathroom with tub and shower. Stairs lead down to the lower floor, level with the driveway, where a second sitting room is fitted with satellite TV. On this level are two double bedrooms, one of which is en-suite and both with doors to the terrace, a twin bedroom plus separate shower room and WC, and a laundry with washing machine and dryer. La Farigoule has central heating for winter lets, a working fireplace in the living room, and telephone and fax.

OPINION

Quite simple but very comfortable, La Farigoule is a stroll from the Cannes-Mougins Golf and Country Club: you can see the 18th hole from the balcony.

ACCOMMODATION

Three double bedrooms and one twin. Maximum eight guests.

STAFF

Maid service obligatory for nine hours a week, paid locally. Extra hours on request. The maid is English and is happy to help with shopping. A cook can be arranged on request.

Cannes-Mougins (golf, tennis) 2 mins walk, Valbonne 5 mins drive, Cannes 15 mins, Nice airport 20 mins.
