This very attractive stone-built villa is situated just outside the medieval fortified village of Tourette-sur-Loup. From its location in the Gorges du Loup, it is an easy drive to visit other hill villages in the area, including St. Paul-de-Vence and Le Bar-du-Loup. The house sits in a peaceful location down a quiet residential road, with a private garden surrounded by olive trees. It has been designed for outdoor living with several attractively furnished terraces, one with table and wrought-iron chairs for dining, a barbecue and several comfortable sitting areas. The interior of the house is furnished with painted washed-effect walls in warm colours and tiled floors. The entrance leads into a dining room and a large well-equipped kitchen.

The large living room is up a few steps, with two sitting areas, Satellite TV, VCR, DVD, stereo and French windows to the terrace. Stairs lead up to the first floor, with an en-suite master bedroom and a single bedroom with en-suite shower, ideal for staff/nanny. On the second floor are three twin/double bedrooms with two bathrooms. A guesthouse in the garden houses a further twin/double bedroom. Within the garden, there is a swimming pool (12 x 6m) with a demountable fence for child security, sun loungers and a pool house with a sitting room, steam room, shower, basin and WC.

OPINION

This beautifully restored villa would please every generation, its only a short drive from some wonderful medieval villages, boasts great facilities including a climbing frame plus steam room and has comfortable alfresco dining.

Four double/twin bedrooms, one single bedroom. Garden guest house with twin/double. Maximum eleven guests.

STAFF

Resident guardians provide 8 hours maid service a week. Cook on request.
