Set amongst 10 hectares the Mas de La Fourbine dates from the late 17th century, an exceptional property in the heart of Les Alpilles. The house itself has been beautifully and tastefully updated, with a very well-equipped kitchen, a superbly comfortable living room, with satellite TV/VCR/DVD and stereo, as well as a laundry with washing machine and dryer. Floors are tiled, and walls simply finished in traditional colours. All six bedrooms are upstairs and are individually decorated and furnished. They are all en-suite, fitted with televisions, and have air-conditioning that will also heat if required, but otherwise offer very different characters to suit individual tastes. The Lila room, for instance, has views from three windows to hundred year oaks, olive orchards and the sheep stable, the Mangue room looks over the horses pasture, while the Santoline room looks out across a protected nature reserve to Les Alpilles. A few meters from the house is the 17m x 5m swimming pool. The Mas de la Fourbine fits perfectly into its surrounding environment, an invitation to discover the light and fragrance of the region through the highways and byways of Les Alpilles.
