This beautiful vine-clad stone mas with blue shutters enjoys an idyllic location on a large private estate right on the coast at Plage de la Moutte, just three kilometres from the centre of St Tropez. Steps lead from the large lawned garden down to a beach below. From the house, its terraces and garden there are uninterrupted views of the sea.

A terrace, with dining and seating areas, stretches along the front of the house. To the rear is a further covered dining area with barbeque and 12 x 5m swimming pool surrounded by sun terraces with garden furniture, potted palm trees and bougainvillea.

The interiors are of an equally high standard, furnished with antiques, modern paintings and sculptures. On the ground floor there is a living room with satellite TV, open fireplace and glass doors opening onto the front terrace and a door to the pool terrace. There is also a well-equipped kitchen and a study, the master and one other double bedroom, both en-suite. Upstairs there are three double bedrooms and a twin bedroom, all en-suite. Extra accommodation is available on request next to the garage, including a bedroom with 4 beds, bathroom and kitchen suitable for staff or children.

OPINION

This beautiful provenal villa combines very easy access into St Tropez with a stunning setting overlooking the sea. Part of an estate it is also exceptionally private, perfect for families with young children.

Main house: five double bedrooms, one twin. Extra four-bed room with single beds, for staff or children, available at extra cost.

Maximum 12-16 guests.

STAFF

20 hours obligatory maid service payable locally. A security guard is included in the price from 10pm to 5am, extra hours available on request at an additional cost.
