This impressive property, constructed as a mock castle with tower, enjoys a superb location in Cannes, close to shops and restaurants. Situated within a private park, it is just ten minutes walk to the Palais des Festivals, and three minutes walk to the beach. Entrance to the property is through a security gate into a pretty south-facing courtyard, while there is a small garden immediately surrounding the house, with swimming pool (9 x 4m).

The house is spacious and bright, and very well decorated with comfortable furnishings. The large sitting room on the ground floor has a fireplace, and there’s a separate TV room/study with satellite and VCR. The dining room is generously sized and the kitchen well-equipped. Stairs lead up to the first floor where there’s an en-suite double bedroom and a large master bedroom with its own sitting area, TV, dressing room, en-suite bathroom and private terrace. The second floor has two twin bedrooms, one with doors onto the roof terrace, and a bathroom. There is also a studio with a twin bedroom , a kitchenette and shower room on the lower ground floor suitable for staff or teenagers and with independant access.

 

OPINION

With its situation right in the heart of Cannes, villa du Parc is walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and La Croisette. If you’re interested in making your mark on Cannes society, the pretty south-facing central courtyard can be covered and used to entertain up to eighty guests.
