Peace and tranquility

Set on a hillside, surrounded by woodland and with wonderful views over the valley, this stone-built Provenal house is one of our most charming properties. The house is approached by a driveway that leads through terraced gardens planted with lavender and shrubs, to a swimming pool (11 x 6m), a terrace with wrought-iron sunloungers and a further pretty covered terrace for outside dining. The house is decorated and furnished with exquisite taste throughout. Traditional beamed ceilings, stone tiled floors and walls painted in muted colours complement pretty curtains and bed linens, country antique furniture and beautiful antique lights. There is central heating for winter lets and a telephone/fax, CD player and TV/DVD. On the ground floor there is a fully-equipped kitchen/dining room with an antique breakfast bar, which opens onto the front terrace. The living room has a huge fireplace, ideal for the winter months, but also opens onto the terrace for long summer evenings, while there are two en-suite bedrooms on the ground floor, one opening onto the terrace and the other with sweeping views across the valley. On the lower floor is a utility room with a washing machine and dryer, while the two final bedrooms, both en-suite, are on the first floor.

OPINION

A beautiful provenal stone-built property situated in the heart of the Luberon valley. Only suitable for adults or families with teenagers as it has such high quality interiors and not much of a garden. Simply charming.

ACCOMMODATION

Four double bedrooms. Maximum eight guests.

STAFF

Maid service is included two hours daily from Monday to Friday. Additional hours on request at extra charge.
