This lovely provenal house has an idyllic setting, built into the rocks of Les Baux with magnificent views of the ancient town and chateau, just a short walk from the well known 'L'Oustau de Baumaniere' restaurant. The rooms at the front of the house open to a terrace with covered dining area and the garden, with views to Les Baux. The interior is beautifully restored with traditional beamed ceilings and exposed rock walls. The rooms are very attractively furnished with antique furniture, mirrors and rugs. The ground floor contains a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with large fireplace, satellite TV and French doors to the side terrace, dining room and a study with vaulted ceilings and a piano. On the first floor is a twin bedroom, two doubles and the master, all en-suite and with a galleried small bedroom above the master , suitable for a child. The lawned garden, with olive trees extends around to one side of the house where there is a 15 x 7m swimming pool, terrace, and a pool house in the style of a small orangerie, with a small kitchen and double bedroom, ideal for a teenager. Access to the property is through electric gates and there is covered parking for two or three cars.

Mas du Lion is a charming property in a beautiful and unique location, ideal for exploring the many delights of Les Alpilles.
