This new house, constructed beautifully in traditional style in provenal stone, with pale blue shutters, sits in a tranquil, rural location between Maussane and Eygalieres. Access is via a driveway with trees on one side and vineyards on the other. The rooms to the front of the house open to a terrace with pergola covered dining area and views over the countryside to the mountains. There is a small lawn to the front, and just beyond this a boules court. To one side is a swimming pool, bordered on one side by lavender bushes, and olive trees. At one end of the pool is a very attractive covered dining area with built-in barbeque and fridge, and adjacent shower room/WC. Inside the newly decorated rooms have exposed ceiling beams and terracotta tiled floors, tastefully and comfortably furnished. Satellite TV is fitted and there is central heating for the winter months. The spacious living room has a fireplace, decorative alcoves and French doors to the terrace. On this level there’s also the large and very well-equipped kitchen, a study opening to the terrace and utility room with washing machine. Stairs lead up to the first floor, where there are five double bedrooms, two of which have en-suite showers, and there is a separate bathroom.

OPINION

This property is surrounded by typical provencal countryside of lavender, olive trees and vineyards. It is also very peaceful, ideal for recuperating and relaxing.
