This beautifully conceived house, built in ‘modern-Provenal’ style, is set on Route des Salins in St Tropez. Furnishings from La Maison des Lices blend with kitchen and bathroom fittings from Philippe Starck, ensuring this is a stylish and elegant base in this stylish and elegant town. The garden is planted with olive trees, lavender and Provenal vines, with an area set aside for boules and parking for two or three cars.

Inside, there is a large living room, containing a dining area with a table seating eight, a separate area with sofas around a working fireplace and television. The kitchen area is modern and sophisticated, with all the equipment required by a professional chef, and there is a separate scullery/laundry. On this level there is a single bedroom, with en-suite shower, washbasin and WC. Stairs lead up to the first floor, with two double bedrooms and a bathroom with tub, shower and WC, overlooking the garden.

The living room’s glorious windows open onto a generous garden, with quality outdoor dining furniture on a terrace overlooking the 12m x 5m swimming pool.

OPINION

Designer heaven at this small, peaceful haven in St Tropez, perfect for people exploring France’s most sophisticated holiday town. All St Tropez’ attractions are within easy reach, with a choice of beaches within five minutes drive, and a number of world-famous restaurants, bars and clubs close at hand.

ACCOMMODATION

Two double bedrooms, one single bedroom. Maximum four guests.

Obligatory maid service four hours per day, Monday to Saturday, payable locally.
