This very attractive, bungalow-style villa enjoys a quiet and picturesque setting on the edge of a lake. Stretching beyond are the marshes and lagoons of the Camargue. Inside the property is a well equipped kitchen and a large living/dining room with open fireplace and glass doors opening to the terrace. There is an en-suite staff twin/double bedroom at the rear of the property, two en-suite double bedrooms one with bath, one with shower and a twin/double with en-suite shower. A bunk bedded room and another double share a shower room. Further accommodation is in a studio flat with a terrace, kitchenette, and double en-suite bedroom. The final double bedroom is on a mezzanine level overlooking the living room, with en-suite bathroom. The rooms open to a very attractive vine-clad terrace which extends around three sides of the house, with seating and dining areas, overlooking the lake. To one side of the lawned garden, beyond the house and on the edge of the lake, is a 13m x 4.5m swimming pool with decking surround and gazebo. There is also a tennis court, table tennis table and billiards available, with horse riding and fishing by arrangement.

OPINION

Whilst not luxurious , this a particularly quiet location with plenty of bedrooms for large groups. With all the open water around , it would not be suitable for young children.

ACCOMMODATION

Five double bedrooms, two double/twins, one bunk bedroom. Maximum 14 guests with two staff.

STAFF

Maid service 4 hours, Monday to Friday (2 hours included and 2 hours to be paid direct by clients).

St. Martin de Crau 15 mins drive, Arles 20 mins, Marseille airport 40 mins.
