This romantic and very private chateau, recently totally restored, is situated on the top of a hill in 25 acres of grounds, with panoramic views of mountains and valleys on all sides. Entrance is along a double tree-lined driveway, with two formal gardens, a fountain and dining area and a heated pool (11.5m x 4.5m).

There are eight bedrooms in the chateau (sleeping 17) on the first and second floors , and a separate self-contained annexe, with a further three bedrooms. A further building houses the garage, a gym and a summer reception room, large enough for more than 200 guests. The interiors are beautifully furnished throughout, with polished wood floors with oriental carpets on the ground and second floors. The many facilities also include a billiard room, 4 satellite TVs (including mega-screen), VCRs, 2 stereo hi-fi systems, colour fax and photocopier, children’s game room, phones in all the main rooms and bedrooms and intercom connecting all main rooms and the cottage. Entrance to the property is via electric gates with videophone and there is central heating in both the chateau and the cottage.

OPINION

This chateau is an excellent destination at any time of year. In the summer, it is warm with many mountain activities on offer. In the winter there are several ski resorts within easy reach.

ACCOMMODATION

Main chateau four double bedrooms, three twins, and one triple. Self-contained annex one double bedroom, one twin, and one loft bedroom suitable for four children. sofa bed and two portable beds available. Maximum 17 - 25 guests.

STAFF

Daily maid service is included 3 hours a day, 6 days a week. Gardener/pool man. Cook and babysitter on request.

Lyon Airport 60 mins drive, Geneva Airport 75 mins, Collet d'Allevard (nearest ski resort) 25 mins, Courchevel 60 mins.
