This traditional farmhouse is part of an old hamlet, originally occupied by farmers and now completely restored. It is situated in a beautiful position in the hills north of Lucca, south-facing and renowned for its magnificent views. The house we have to rent here is the most beautiful in the hamlet, being detached, and therefore totally independent of the other houses, and also with exceptional views. It has been faithfully restored, respecting the ancient character of the original farmhouse, but at the same time adding to the quality and comfort with new furnishings and equipment. An example of this successful combination of old and new is the very well-equipped kitchen, which opens to a terrace with beautiful views, ideal for "al fresco" dining. There is also a sitting room opening to a terrace and a small laundry room on this floor, while the bedrooms are all upstairs, with two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom, a bathroom with two showers and another with a bath.

Within the garden, and in a superb position with far reaching views, there is a beautiful 12m x 6m swimming pool. No pets are allowed at this property.

OPINION

This charming small villa is ideal for smaller families or for romantic getaways. It offers the chance to live the Italian dream on a small, intimate scale.

Two double bedrooms, one twin. Maximum six guests.

Maid service included two hours a day, three days a week.
