Villa Clara is a beautiful villa built at the end of the 18th Century. It is a typical manor house of the period, with its own small formal park and chapel within the grounds. It is situated in a peaceful rural location at the centre of an old wine producing estate, dotted with farmhouses once occupied by the estate’s vintners. One of these is Casa Rosa which is also featured in our programme and is located next to Villa Clara. The area, known as La Maulina, has always been famous for its wine. Nowadays it is one of the most desirable residential areas of the town of Lucca. The villa has been totally renovated during the last few years and has been furnished very elegantly with antiques. It can accommodate groups of up to 20 people, with all but two of the bedrooms having their own bathroom. On the ground floor there is a huge dining room, opening via French windows onto both the front and back gardens. There is a traditional Tuscan kitchen, a small sitting room, and a billiard room. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, and a double and twin sharing a shower room. Stairs lead up to the second floor, where there are three double bedrooms and three twins, all en-suite. A short walk from the house there is a large 18m x 8m swimming pool, with panoramic views, and there is also a public tennis court 500m from the villa.

This substantial villa is perfect for groups of friends or families travelling together, with space for major celebrations or simply to relax.

Six double bedrooms, four twins. Maximum 20 guests.

Maid service included four hours a day, five days a week.
