All bedrooms and sitting rooms are spacious and comfortable, tastefully furnished in classic Tuscan style with many fine antiques. The property has recently undergone complete refurbishment, but still retaining its original character. The main front door opens onto an attractive series of arches and the courtyards, with a typical large Tuscan kitchen, and various service rooms. Situated on the first floor is a large sitting room with fireplace, a television room with satellite TV and a studio with windows overlooking the valley; to the right, a long corridor leads to the master bedroom, with en-suite bathroom, a single bedroom, and a second en-suite double bedroom. A small lobby leads to the spacious dining room seating sixteen. A second corridor leads to a double bedroom and a single bedroom with connecting doors that share a bathroom, and a further single bedroom. A second spacious sitting room with two, well-appointed double bedrooms sharing a bathroom complete the accommodation.

Outside there are sun terraces and pergola-covered dining areas, a 12m x 6m swimming pool and professional clay tennis court.

OPINION

This majestic villa, designed to house an extended family in this idyllic rural setting, is now an ideal year-round base, with several single rooms for nannies or staff.
