This exceptionally beautiful property is located in a very quiet and spectacular position, just a few kilometres away from the lovely village of Montalcino. The views from the house are outstanding, taking in the Val d'Orcia and Crete Senesi. The property comprises both a large Tuscan stone-built farmhouse and a small guest house, and has recently been bought by a well known Italian interior designer, also the owner of our property Fontanelle, who has restored and furnished Il Lavacchio to the same high standard. It is particularly spacious and light, and all bedrooms have a private bathroom. The Main House has a large dining room with fireplace, a spacious dining room and a kitchen all opening to the garden, and a double bedroom with four-poster bed on the ground floor, while the first floor has a further sitting room, two double bedrooms and a twin, all with their own private bathrooms.

The guest house has a twin en-suite bedroom set on the ground floor and two further bedrooms, if required, available at extra cost. The farmhouse is set on a level lawned area with a lovely 15m x 6m swimming pool within the grounds.

OPINION

This well-appointed property would be ideal for friends travelling together, but would also suit families, though parents of young children should be aware there is no direct line of sight from the house to the swimming pool.

ACCOMMODATION

Main House three double bedrooms, one twin. Guest House one twin bedroom. Maximum ten guests. Three extra bedrooms available in Guest House on request.

STAFF

Maid service is included in the price three hours a day, five days a week.

DISTANCES

Montalcino (nearest village with shops, PO) 20 mins drive, Siena 80 mins, Grosseto (coast) 60 mins.
