Accommodation comprises
Ground Floor
Enter into a large living room with an ornate stone fireplace and
beautiful arched ceiling. There are French doors that lead from
the living room to a gravelled area where a table and chairs are
set under a pretty canvas awning, ideal for early evening
aperitifs. A fully equipped kitchen, complete with dining table,
is an excellent base for preparing delicious local cuisine. A
quaint little dining room that comfortably seats 12 people lies
adjacent to the kitchen for indoor dining Also on the ground floor
is a guest bathroom and a second bathroom that, due to its
position, works well as a pool shower and changing room.
First Floor
On this level is an additional living room with fireplace and
satellite television. All six bedrooms are on this floor and have
been delightfully decorated to different pastel colour schemes:
there are three twin rooms, one of which is en-suite, and three
double rooms. There are also three further bathrooms on this
floor.
The separate dependence, simpler in style and furnishing, has a
living room, a twin bedroom and a bathroom, suitable for nannies
or additional staff.
Grounds
The vast manicured gardens of Villa La Tenuta offer plenty of
opportunity for exploring, and al fresco dining surrounded by the
fabulous views is a must. The sizable swimming pool with diving
board offers cool relief from the long, hot Tuscan days, and there
is a spacious poolside area with comfortable sun-loungers and
umbrellas to recline on. For the more active, there is a private
tennis court and ping pong table in the extensive grounds of the
villa offering outdoor entertainment. The garden is also well lit
at night so those Tuscan evenings can go on and on!
