Situated on the eastern coast of Sicily, between Catania and Taormina, Villa Riposto is a stately villa dating back to 1850, located in a lush citrus valley sweeping downward to the Ionian Sea. The estate includes the main villa plus a fully independent annex, both of which are beautifully furnished and fully modernised inside, with all amenities including air conditioning and satellite TV. Outside, there are fantastic formal gardens surrounded by terraces, and featuring a large 16m x 8m swimming pool overlooking the sea. The main villa comprises an immensely charming living room with fireplace, dining room and fully equipped kitchen, all on the ground floor. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms and terraces that overlook Mount Etna to one side and the sea on the other. There is a third en-suite double bedroom and a single bedroom, ideal for a child or nanny. The annex is quite separate from the main house and is equally beautiful, offering four double bedrooms each with en-suite facilities, its own well-equipped kitchen and comfortable living room with fireplace, all on one level. Air-conditioned against summer heat and with several working fireplaces, Villa Riposto is a delightful place to stay year round. The owner will also organise cooking classes at the property on request.

This beautiful period property has been elegantly and simply restored in classic Sicilian style, offering vaulted covered terraces, antique furnishings and open fireplaces. With a full-time staff and skilled chef, a relaxing holiday is assured.
