Leggiano is a beautifully restored 17th century 220 square metre farmhouse completed in 1998 as an escape from the madding crowd. The property sleeps four in two beautifully furnished first floor ensuite bedrooms. The master bedroom suite has a private study with fireplace and an outside staircase leading directly down to the garden.
The guest bedroom also has an ensuite bathroom. A sheltered 12m x 6m swimming pool with underwater lights, grass terrace seating areas and comfortable pool furniture and towels is superbly positioned in the extensive gardens. The rest of the house includes a large kitchen with gas hob and separate larder, dining room with open fireplace, drawing room also with fireplace, stereo, satellite TV and DVD, a guest WC with direct access to the gardens and a laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Included in the weekly rate is unlimited use of high speed wireless internet in the house and grounds and a welcome meal on arrival. Guests also have access to all the services and facilities of the Castello di Reschio Estate.
OPINION
Leggiano is a secure and private house standing four square in its grounds at the end of a 1200 metre private road with a lavender flanked path. A number of discreet dining areas have been built around the house taking full advantage of the views from sunrise to sunset.

Castello di Reschio is centrally placed to enjoy the highlights of Umbria and Tuscany and is only 20 minutes from Cortona or half an hour from the galleries, churches, opera, film and jazz festivals or theatres in Umbria's capital city, Perugia. Florence and Rome are within two hours drive, and Siena, Arrezo, Assisi, Todi and Orvieto are all closeby.
