Princely residence Period Tuscan style Magnificent views This 16th century residence formerly owned by the Prince of Milan has huge rooms, flagstone and terracotta pianelli floors and ceiling tiles, lovingly crafted by local artisans. The rooms retain their original character, with every window flooded with light. The house has been improved by a fully-equipped kitchen fitted with the latest appliances, underfloor heating, DVD and other luxuries. There is one double bedroom with separate shower on the ground floor, but most are above: stone stairs lead up to the first floor, where there are three double bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. On the second floor there is a double bedroom, a triple (double and single bed), both with en-suite bathrooms, and two further bedrooms, one with two doubles and one with one double bed, sharing a bathroom.
The building is surrounded by terraces and lawned gardens, with a tobacco tower on one side and a covered loggia, furnished for outdoor dining, on the other. The main terrace, with magnificent sunset views, overlooks the 7m x 15m swimming pool, with its own outdoor shower and drinks fridge.
OPINION
This wonderful imposing palazzo is ideal for large families or groups of friends. Surrounded by magnificent views, the enormous rooms and indoor/outdoor dining facilities make this house ideal for special occasions. As many of the orginal features of the house have been retained, the stone features such as staircase and flagstone floors, although magnificent, can be somewhat uneven.

Six double bedrooms, one triple, and one twin. Maximum 16 guests + two children.
STAFF
Total linen change, pool and house cleaning on Saturdays from 10:00-16:00.
