Set on a hilltop estate of eight acres, including formal gardens, orchards and tennis court, Monte das Aguias is a luxuriously appointed restored manor house with wonderful coastal views to the south and wild Algarve countryside north and east.
Interiors are spacious and airy with high wood panelled ceilings and terracotta tiled floors, fitted with central heating, air-conditioning (charged extra) and stylish, comfortable furnishings. The sunny, spacious drawing room overlooks the tennis court and children’s play area. Through large French windows, there is a cosy satellite TV room and, by contrast, a huge dining room with fireplace. The kitchen is open-plan, with a service bar and opens onto a large covered dining terrace/sun deck with barbeque. As the owners’ retain the upper floors for their own use, guest accommodation is on the ground floor level, in two double and three twin bedrooms with two shower rooms.
The dining terrace overlooks the 12m x 5m swimming pool, heated on request and surrounded by a sunny terrace. Leisure facilities include table football and table tennis, swings, floodlit boules and tennis courts.

OPINION
Character accommodation and excellent leisure facilities in this restored stately home. An ideal villa for those looking to have many activities to choose from. Guests are asked to refrain from smoking in the house.

STAFF
Maid service three hours five days per week, English speaking resident housekeeper.

Loule (shops, market) 5 mins drive, Quinta da Lago/Vale de Lobo (preferential green fees) 20 mins, Quinta, Vale de Lobo, Dunas Duradas (beaches) 20 mins, Faro (airport) 20 mins.
