Quinta da Alegria is a modern and comfortable villa with underfloor heating, air-conditioning and all the comforts of the modern age combined with tasteful decor and quality furnishings. At the heart of the villa is an open-plan L-shaped drawing room, with slow-burning log stove for winter months, and a luxuriously appointed kitchen. Both open through large French windows to a covered terrace for al fresco dining, with a pretty garden, mostly laid to lawn and with a rockery blooming with flowers and shrubs and shaded by pine trees. There’s also a 15m x 7m swimming pool which can be heated, an outdoor shower and a barbeque area converted from an historic bread oven and pigsty. All are enclosed by a natural stone wall, providing privacy but not obstructing the views. Two bedrooms, a twin and a double, both en-suite, are also on this level. The first floor contains a sitting room with large flat-screen satellite TV/DVD, also opening onto a partly covered terrace, with two twin and two double en-suite bedrooms, most with either balconies or French doors opening onto terraces. To the rear of the property is a championship hard tennis court and a shaded games area, including table tennis and table football, as well as parking for several cars. The property is fully air-conditioned.

OPINION
This newly built, light and spacious villa is set amongst avocado and citrus trees, ideally combining excellent facilities with a quiet rural setting, ideal for those wanting to get away from it all with atmospheric villages nearby.

ACCOMMODATION
Three double bedrooms, three twins. Maximum 12 guests.

STAFF
Maid service three hours a day, five days a week. Extra hours on request.

DISTANCES
Silves (shops, restaurants) 5 mins drive, Carvoeiro (sandy beach) 12 mins, Faro (airport) 40 mins.
