This traditional rural house is situated on a hilltop in the Eastern Algarve, amongst two hectares of farmland with stunning views to the coast. The interiors are warm and extremely comfortable, with generously proportioned rooms. A spacious sitting/dining room with open fireplace, large sofas, walls lined with bookshelves, opens to a partly covered dining terrace. The kitchen also opens to the outside, with a barbeque nearby. The Master bedroom has a separate sitting room, two bedrooms have open fireplaces and all three have en-suite bathrooms and direct access to either terraces or the garden. The property is well equipped, including satellite TV and video, board games and croquet, and a telephone/fax. A pretty 12.5m x 5m swimming pool sits to one side of the grounds and has a sunbathing terrace, outdoor shower and separate shallow area for children. Though not isolated, the property is peaceful and private.


OPINION
In this area known for its golden sandy beaches, championship year-round golf courses, nature walks, quaint villages and markets, the Quinta da Caiada is an ideal base for a small family. The owner also rents out the Casa das Laranjeiras next door, offering similar facilities to a further six guests, which might appeal to two families wanting to travel together but maintain their independence.

Two double bedrooms, one twin. Maximum six guests.


STAFF
Maid service included two hours a day, five days a week. Resident villa manager and pool/gardening team.
