This newly renovated 'cortijo' style house, built around a central courtyard, is situated in beautiful tranquil countryside with views of the floodlit 'Gaucin' Moorish castle. 

The villa’s very spacious and stylish interiors are painted in a warm terracotta colour, with blue doors and windows and Moroccan/Turkish influence in tiles, shutters, rugs and artefacts. There are covered sun terraces on every side, while the central courtyard is planted with flowers and fruit trees around a central 4m x 4m plunge pool, fed with chemical-free mountain water. The house is very well equipped with telephone/fax, CD player, satellite TV, video and central heating.

There are three double en-suite bedrooms in the main house, and self-contained accommodation in the adjoining Casa Maroc, with twin/double and double en-suite bedrooms, a sitting room and kitchenette. A final twin room and shower are in the Casita. The landscaped gardens incorporate a fenced 15.5m x 11m swimming pool, solar heated and non-chlorinated.


OPINION
Situated in an area of outstanding beauty ideal for walking and riding. Guests should be aware that access is down quite a steep, unsealed 700 metre road. Some of the accommodation is not suitable for young children and the owner requests no more than 4 children per booking.


ACCOMMODATION
Main house five double bedrooms, one twin/double, one twin. Maximum 12 guests.


STAFF
Resident housekeeper who will shop, and cook breakfast and lunch, five days a week. Housemaid every day. English speaking house manager.

Gaucin (shops, bank, PO, tennis) 700 metres, horse riding ten mins drive, Ronda 40 mins, Sotogrande (golf, beaches) 40 mins, Gibraltar (airport) 70 mins, Malaga (airport) 120 mins.
