This charming, high quality villa sits within a large
private estate between the villages of Santa Gertrudis and San Lorenzo in the
centre of the island. Several pathways, connect the tennis court, 14m x 7m
swimming pool, pool bar, and the guest accommodation, which is divided between
the main villa and guest house. Parts of the main 'finca' building are more than
100 years old, and the interiors are decorated in a Moroccan style and earth
hues, with terracotta tiled floors covered in rugs, archways and wall
tapestries, wooden and wicker furniture and lots of comfortable cushions.
Facilities are modern with under floor heating, air-conditioning, satellite TV,
telephone and fax. There are two sitting rooms, one leads to the dining room and
kitchen, opening to the outdoor dining terrace. There is also a single room and
shower room on this level, ideal for nannies. Two double, en-suite bedrooms are
on the first floor and a small double bedroom, all sharing a terrace. The guest
house features a library, two double en-suite bedrooms on the ground floor, and
a double with en-suite shower room and private terrace on the first floor. Can
Xicu is at its best, perhaps, at dusk when the floodlit terraces and garden
offer marvellous views of Ibiza Town in the distance.
OPINION
Be prepared for a rough journey getting to Can Xicu, as the access road is not the greatest, but your final destination is more than worth it - a truly charming and magical atmosphere with fantastic staff.

Six double bedrooms, one single bedroom. Maximum 13 guests.
STAFF
Resident majordomo speaks English, Spanish, French, German, Arabic and will cook wonderful Moroccan meals by special arrangement. Full maid service, except Sundays.
