From the terrace, views extend across beautifully tended gardens and the infinity swimming pool, through 180 degrees incorporating the majestic Tramuntana Mountains and the length of the rural Campanet valley - dotted with farmhouses - as far as the village of Campanet itself.

The wonderfully peaceful and private location is just a short drive (5km) from one of the island's main towns - Inca - with shops, restaurants and services - and within 25 minutes of both the capital Palma in the south, and the beaches of San Vicent and Formentor in the north.

But whilst the prime tourist sites are within striking distance, Campanet valley could in many ways be said to be a million miles away; instead here one enjoys the real side of Mallorca - agriculture, tradition, flora - open spaces and the freedom to enjoy it - without the crowds!

The property is grand and spacious, and whilst a renovation of a traditional finca, it has all the modern attributes of a contemporary villa - a spacious living area with flat screen TVs; designer kitchen opening onto the broad terrace and gardens; master bedroom with grand en suite bathroom with double rain shower and Jacuzzi corner bath.

Bedrooms are well spaced and comfortable, have air-conditioning and are furnished with a mix of contemporary and traditional Mallorcan pieces.

A 'children's' bedroom on the first floor is decorated in fun, bright colours and is suitable for children up to 14 years.
Outdoors, impeccably kept gardens are filled with lavender and rosemary, and provide a variety of terraces and corners for relaxation or play. The central feature though is unquestionably the 9m x 5m infinity swimming pool - the ideal spot to soak up the warm Mallorcan sunshine - and the wonderful panoramic outlook.
