Ca L'Almiral is a luxuriously restored 16th century mansion situated just south of Barcelona, set on a hill with stunning views of the Mediterranean and the surrounding countryside. The estate grounds include 300 acres of vineyards, orchards and farmland, with 14km of private tracks and a private chapel.


The house has been completely renovated to a very high standard, yet preserving the original structure and retaining countless period details. Well-planned accommodation offers spacious and adaptable luxury living, with each room full of design surprises, from open-plan bathrooms to the dramatic modern art adorning the walls. There are several living areas one of which is the fireplace lounge, with a central Scandinavian fire, at its best in the winter months and another features a children's playroom/TV room. The dining room has three dining tables seating 24, served by a very well equipped kitchen. The cellars have been converted for a new role, with a home cinema with surround sound, a snooker table and bar. Bedrooms are set on the first and second floors, and are all en-suite, with suites also having separate sitting rooms with sofa beds. On the first floor are three suites and three bedrooms, and on the second there is a further suite (air-conditioned) and a final bedroom. The house is surrounded by a large courtyard, with a superb covered Moroccan lounge area and summer kitchen with barbeque. There is an 18 x 6m solar-heated, infinity swimming pool with separate children's pool and Jacuzzi that has stunning views of the valley below.

OPINION
This wonderful 'masia' would be a fantastic setting for either a major celebration or a superb holiday destination for several families - highly recommended for both summer and winter holidays. Endless activities are available but no doubt most guests will not venture much further than the fantastic outdoor Moroccan lounge.

Six doubles, one twin/double rooms, one twin bedroom, four large sofa-beds. 16 - 24 guests maximum.


STAFF
Maid service included 6 days a week. Chef services available from May to October.
