Accommodation Details
Ground Floor
Well equipped kitchen, with electric oven (4 ceramic rings and gas rings), large fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and a dining area. Large Dining Room, seating 12 people, with door to terrace. Games room.

First Floor
Large, comfortably furnished living room. This room leads to another, slightly smaller TV room with satellite TV and comfortable chairs and sofa. There is also a shower room with WC on this floor.

Second Floor
Three large double bedrooms, a large twin bedroom and one smaller twin bedroom (suitable for 2 adults or 4 children (extra beds under the 2 single beds). There is one shower room with WC and one large full bathroom, with separate shower/WC

Staff
A resident housekeeper, Jackie (English) and caretaker husband, Fernando (Italian, but English speaking), live in a small cottage. They provide 2 hours of daily maid service, included in the price, five days a week. Additional hours, cooking and baby-sitting service are available at request

Set in glorious, peaceful countryside, in a hillside position, overlooking the beautiful Val d’Arno valley, where Boccacio set the episodes when writing the Decameron, this attractive traditional Tuscan farmhouse dates back 400 years. It is a particularly peaceful location, surrounded by its own grounds of 125 acres, consisting of olive groves and woodlands. The village of San Donato in Fronzano, with food shops, is approximately 10 minutes drive away. A little further is the town of Reggello, with a wider selection of shops and restaurants, and tennis courts. S. Ellero railway station is 7 kms away, with a regular train service for central Florence, 30 kms away.

The house is surrounded by attractive terraces with breathtaking views over the Tuscan countryside. On a large terrace to one side of the house is a swimming pool (with diving board) and a covered dining area with barbecue, an idyllic spot to relax and enjoy the views. The gardens are beautifully maintained by the resident caretakers, who live in a small cottage in the grounds. In the garden there is a swing and seesaw suitable for small children and the caretakers have several pets (rabbits, chickens, dogs, cats etc.), which most children love!

The traditional interiors, have beamed ceilings, terracotta tiled floors and an open fireplace in the living room. Recently redecorated throughout, the rooms are immaculately furnished and well equipped, including satellite TV and a games room with table tennis and a dartboard.
