This large 17th century villa complex is one of the most ancient private homes on the island of Capri, full of history and a lot of personality, about a 20 min. walk from the town center. This villa, built on ancient Roman cisterns, lies below the ruins of Villa Jovis, which belonged to the Emperor Tiberius. Present owners completely renovated and restored the villa and embellishing it with marble throughout, both internally and externally. This villa is accessed from the private gate through a walkway of Doric columns and stairs leading through the garden up to the entrance of the house. The villa offers satellite TV, Hi-fi, telephone, and computer w/ Internet connection, barbecue, washing machine, air-conditioning. Located right above the exclusive beach area of Marina Piccola on the Eastern coast of the island, this luxurious villa looks onto the infamous Faraglioni rocks, two enormous vertical rocks protruding from the sea serving as the international symbol of Capri and seen in advertisements the world over. There is a bus stop for the local bus located right in front of the entrance gate of the villa. Il Tramonto is blessed with countless privileges and comforts on this account. The villa is easily accessible both on foot (by crossing the famous little piazza, full of colourful Mediterranean flowers and plants), or by car (there is a car park on the villa’s grounds). This magnificent villa is located a 10-15 minute walk from the Piazzetta (main square) and the center of Capri. Villa Il Fortino is reached by following a small, pedestrian walkway leading from the main square, though the historical center of Capri. Once you reach the foot of the property, 164 steps take you from the path up to the main entrance of the property. However, the panoramic views, its perfumed gardens, and the multi-level terraces and pool deck are worth the walk, as the property takes advantage of an enormous, outdoor space. Villa Cala di Rio is located in the countryside of Anacapri right in the beautiful natural area of Mesole, accessible in 5 minutes car drive from the centre of Anacapri. Thanks to it’s panoramic position you can enjoy incredible views on the Sea overlooking the islands of Ischia, Procida, Capo Miseno. The entrance does not have any steps, but a modern access leading through a little private park taking you to the villa. Besides the house there is a terrace is typical Capri style with tiled pavement, while the main terrace has a large terrace with pool and garden area planted with Mediterranean vegetation, offering stunning sea views. The pool area has outdoor shower, a gazebo in wood ideal for dining or relaxing outdoor. The terrace is equipped with automatic tents, providing shade when necessary. Villa Pizzo is located along the hill of Tuoro about a 10-12 minute walk form the centre of Capri. The property is reachable, by foot, down a small pathway starting at the main town square of Capri and twisting through part of the village, with views extending out towards the bell tower and the Bay of Marina Piccola. The property is located in a residential area away from the crowds in a rather secluded and private position, enjoying sea views extending as far as to the Sorrento Coast allowing you to admire the bright colours of the islands nature and its nearby coastline. A stone path leads from the entrance gate through the garden and a flight of 25 steps up to the villa. Great solution for both a family and a group of friends. The dependence apartment can also be rented alone for 2-3 people.
