Set on a hillside close to the small, secluded, sandy beach at Plum Bay on the French side, Monaco is designed on two levels, with the ground floor entrance leading into a large open plan living/dining room beautifully decorated in teak, wicker and wrought iron, and fitted out with TV, VCR and CD/tape. Sliding doors open out onto a terrace shaded by soaring rafters and an outdoor dining area, perfect for watching the sunsets. Steps lead down to a superb 9m x 4m swimming pool surrounded by a spacious terrace with sun loungers and gazebo.

On the ground floor is also a fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, blender, ice machine and washing machine, and a bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. The decor throughout is in exquisite whites and blues, lending a fresh and airy feel to the entire property. The first floor contains two bedrooms with king-size beds , both with en-suite bathrooms with showers, opening out onto wonderful verandas with views to the sea.

Facilities at Monaco include air-conditioning, ceiling fans and mosquito screens in all the bedrooms, TV, VCR, stereo with CD player and barbeque.


OPINION

We think this villa is a wonderful example of a charming, sophisticated Caribbean style villa. Set high, it has wonderful sea views and is only a short drive to the beach.

ACCOMMODATION

Two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. Maximum six guests.

STAFF

Maid service six days per week.

Marigot ten minutes drive, nearest supermarket ten minutes drive, beach five minutes drive.
