Luxurious and spacious interiors 

Stunningly set on the beachfront at Baie Rouge Beach on the French side, Serena looks serenely out over the sea towards the distant island of Anguilla. Baie Rouge Beach is very quiet and unspoilt and this villa makes the most of its beautiful location.

The architecture is Moorish in style, with the spacious rooms opening to a large terrace surrounded by white columns and archways. In the centre of this is a 10m x 5m swimming pool surrounded by sunloungers and potted palms and flowers. Inside, the spacious living room, equipped with TV/VCR and stereo, terracotta tiled floors and classical white pillars opening out onto the terrace.

The furnishings are very elegant, with Gallic charm moderated by a relaxed Caribbean style. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large fridge/freezer dispensing ice and water, an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, blender and coffee machine. There are ceiling fans throughout, and a laundry room with a separate barbeque area outside.

All the bedrooms are air-conditioned, with en-suite facilities and open via French doors onto the terrace. The Master bedroom has a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower, two further double bedrooms both have king-size beds and three further twin bedrooms also have en-suite bathrooms.

OPINION

We think this is a good beachfront family villa for those who looking for a Caribbean holiday with a touch of France.

Resident caretaker. Maid service 6 days a week.
