The property comprises three pavilions, separated by a courtyard featuring tropical gardens, an infinity pool and breathtaking panoramic views of Necker Island, Anegada and Prickly Pear Islands in the distance. The main pavilion includes a fully equipped kitchen and a large open plan living/dining area.
Furnished to a very high standard with elegant but informal furniture adorned with colourful fabrics, antiques and artwork, the facilities include cable TV, VCR, DVD and CD and ceiling fans, blessed with spectacular Caribbean views framed by the multiple doorways and large windows with cushioned window seats.
The three sides of the main pavilion facing the water are surrounded by a wrap-around, covered veranda with large barbeque grill and teak dining table seating eight. The two remaining pavilions each house two twin/double bedroom suites, each air-conditioned with four-poster beds, fantastic bathrooms and private covered terraces. One with a separate sleigh bed for children. The area is well known for its diving, which – along with water sports, beach, excursions and other activities – is available at the nearby resorts of the North Sound.
OPINION
We think this is one of Virgin Gorda’s most outstanding properties, with its three wonderful pavilions set on a breezy ridge overlooking the sheltered waters of North Sound. With its elegant furnishings and four comparable bedrooms it’s particularly well suited for couples.
