Salmon trolling

Led by Finland’s top guides on the Muonionjoki River, full board including:

Transfers from Kittilä Airport on the day of arrival to the accommodation and return to Kittilä Airport on the day of departure.

Accommodation (4 nights) in the village of Kihlanki in a magnificent house (190 sq. metres/2045 sq. ft.) accommodating 9 persons and located just 50 metres from the Muonionjoki River. Facilities include a fully equipped kitchen, swimming pool and sauna by the river shore.

Meals: 3-course dinner on arrival day

Lunches on the terrain or river 
Dinners served at the accommodation

Programme:

Day 1:

Collection from the airport, accommodation, free time to explore the area and dinner. Possibility for fishing on the Muonionjoki River.

Days 2 – 4:

Salmon trolling on the Muonionjoki River, each day on a different section of the river. 1 – 2 persons/boat, led by a professional salmon trolling guide. Breakfast is served before departure for the river. Lunches in the terrain and dinners at the accommodation.

Day 5: 

Breakfast followed by fishing on Muonionjoki River depending on departure time. Possibility for lunch. Transfer to Kittilä Airport.

Trolling

On Lake Rostojärvi in Sweden on the fell close to the Norwegian border, full board including:

Transfers from Kittilä Airport on the day of arrival to Kilpisjärvi, helicopter transfer from Kilpisjärvi to Lake Rostojärvi and return on the day of departure to Kilpisjärvi and car transfer to Kittilä Airport.

Accommodation (4 nights) in cabins at Rostojärvi Lake, with usual cabin facilities including kitchenette and beds. Saunas and toilet facilities located in a separate building.

Trolling boats and equipment, fishing permits and guide services

Programme:

Day 1: 

Collection from the airport, transfer to Lake Rostojärvi, accommodation, free time to explore the area and dinner. Possibility for fishing.

Days 2 – 4: 

Breakfasts, departure for the lake, lunches served in the cabins, free time and more fishing in the evening. Sauna bathing, free time and dinners.

Day 5:

Breakfast followed by fishing on the lake depending on departure time. Possibility for lunch. Transfer to Kittilä Airport.




Fly-fishing

Transfers from Kittilä Airport on the day of arrival to the accommodation and return to Kittilä Airport on the day of departure.

Accommodation (4 nights) in the village of Kihlanki in a magnificent house (190 sq. metres/2045 sq. ft.) accommodating 9 persons and located just 50 metres from the Muonionjoki River. Facilities include a fully fitted kitchen, swimming pool and sauna by the river shore. 

Transfers daily to the fishing spots and back to the accommodation.

Programme:

Day 1: 

Collection from the airport, accommodation, free time to explore the area and dinner. Possibility for fishing on the Muonionjoki River.

Day 2: 

Breakfast, getting equipped and departing for the river – fly-fishing for salmon and grayling. Lunch in the terrain. Free programme/sauna for the evening and dinners.

Day 3: 

Breakfast, departure for Lake Naakajärvi (distance of approx. 80 km) where float tube fly-fishing is practiced, lunch in the terrain. Return to accommodation in the evening, free programme/sauna for the evening and dinners.

Day 4: 

Breakfast, departure for River Äkäsjoki (distance of approx. 35 km) where fly-fishing for grayling and trout is practiced. Lunch in the terrain. Return to accommodation in the evening, free programme/sauna for the evening and dinners.

Day 5: 

Breakfast followed by fishing on Muonionjoki River and lunch depending on departure time. Transfer to Kittilä Airport.
